Polish Takeout Meal proceeds to benefit Polish Cultural Center
Beginning at 12:30PM at The St. Stanislaus Social Center , the organization will be selling takeout Polish meals. The meals are $12 each and will include 2 potato pancakes (sour cream on the side), kielbasa (donated by Wardynski’s), lazy pierogi, bread and butter, and a Polish sweet treat. To follow social distancing guidelines, vehicles are asked to drive down Wilson St. towards St. Stanislaus Church from William St., Volunteers wearing masks and gloves will be selling takeout meals at one door and then other volunteers will be delivering the takeout meals at another door.
The Polish meal will be prepared by Morluski’s Polish and Italian restaurant and all proceeds will go towards the funding of a Polish Cultural Center. St. Stanislaus Social Center is located at 389 Peckham St. The Polish car window flags will only be available while supplies last, it is recommended to register in advance to secure your flag for each participating vehicle. You can register at www.generalpulaski.com. The Polish takeout meal will also be only available while supplies last, those participating in the parade can buy discounted takeout meal tickets for $11 each while picking up their Polish flag at The Eastern Hills Mall. Meals will be available until 2PM or until sold out.
