Indie Author Day

Saturday, November 7, 2020, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Maybe all these months of quarantine have made you more determined than ever that you have a book in you, and maybe you’ve even gotten a manuscript started. But what do you do now? Authors wishing to publish their work have more options than ever – but how do you even know what those options are?

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library’s free annual Indie Author Day will be held on Zoom for the first time, featuring four presentations by local experts with advice and insight into the process of writing, publishing, and marketing for writers at all stages of the process. The program will wrap up with a general Q&A panel by additional local authors.

This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. All Erie County writers, from notebook scribblers to published authors, are welcome to attend this online event. Details, registration, the Zoom link for the event, and the submission form for the author directory can be found on the event webpage:
